Club Penguin Puffle Shirts

We have been searching for shirts to buy but haven't had any luck.  Since the boys really like the Puffles I figured I would try make my own shirts.  I think they came out pretty good for my first time using real  T-Shirt Vinyl. It seemed harder than I expected so I have a feeling I may not have been doing it totally right.  I guess this is one of those times when I probably should have read the directions!

Easter Goodies

So the Mario Brother's craze continues on.  It seems to be the big thing with a lot of kids right now so I figured I would do a little something to hold Mario Kart racers that I got for my friends kids.

In return, she made these cute string eggs for my kids with the Mario Kart racers inside.

I had also seen these adorable bunny pops on The Mother Huddle and just had to make some!  Of course I was doing them after midnight so I never got to add the bows but still thought they came out really cute.

You know what happens when you put a boy and girl bunny together.......

You get lots of bunnies!!

A different twist to a great idea

A couple months back Dts Art was nice enough to share on her Take Out Tuesday a great Treat Box Card.  I loved the idea but wanted to add a little bit more to the design so off I went to see what I could create with MTC.  As you can see....I love the endless possibilities that MTC offers....such a great program!  I took her basic design idea but added slots to tie on some accent ribbons and added a window.

After I created the box I didn't know what I was going to put in it since I had added the window!  I made this around Valentine's Day so I dropped in a few heart shaped candies for this one.  In the future I was thinking that it would be a great way to give some hand crafted jewelry if I make a card to insert into the box to display the items.

Surprise!

Nothing like a box with a little surprise inside.  There are lots of variations of these floating around so I figured I would use MTC to make a template and see what I could come up with.

I made this first one based on one I had seen posted but struggled with making the cake tiers without gaps.

I guess it still came out okay but I need to try and find a solution to the gaps.

Next I thought it would be cute to do one with a castle for my friends son who was having a "knight" themed party.

Of course I had to add him to the castle dressed in a suit of armor!

Catching Up.....

So it has been a lot harder to keep up with the blogging than I anticipated.  I figured I needed to spend a little time trying to "catch up" on some of the things that I've done.  I figured I would go back to St. Patrick's Day.  I wanted to do something for my son to take to his classmates so I pulled together these pencils since they can't bring any food into the classroom.

I also wanted to try and create a little something for my friends.  I had seen these great little hand sanitizers when I was out one day and remembered seeing them around Christmas done by Just because I love to play so I thought I would try to create a template in MTC.  I also found the cute subway art at eighteen 25.  Here is what I came up with.

Light It Up Blue

April is Autism Awareness month so on the first two days of the month Autism Speaks asks everyone to "Light It Up Blue" to raise awareness.  Below are a few items I've made to show my support.  We have been blessed with the ability to see what a difference it can make if children receive the support and resources they need early.

These are small votive candles to shine the "blue" light.

A clothes pin picture holder that I created for a friend.

This is a tee shirt that I made to wear today.
